This garden was created in partnership with Marsha Mayes and with design assistance from Juxtaposition Arts. It was created in the name of Terrell Mayes Jr. and all others lives who have been taken by gun violence. It serves as a memorial of healing, community support, and peace.

This peace garden is used in a variety of different ways ranging from herbal workshops which highlight the plants growing there to community meals. It is designed to build community and offer a safe space for those experiencing intense grief.
